This annual congress attracts over 3000 emergency medicine specialists from around the world. Research presented at the Congress will include topics such as emergency care for children and the elderly, trauma, disaster medicine, planning for major events such as the Olympics in Paris in 2024, respiratory emergencies, including COVID-19, sepsis, cardiovascular, neurological, psychiatric, toxicologic and intoxication emergencies, and obstetrics and gynaecological emergencies.

On Monday and Tuesday in Room 114, there are Spanish tracks where the latest Spanish research will be presented in Spanish on topics such as diagnoses in acute cardiology, and the latest developments in heart failure and infections.

EUSEM welcomes the interest of the press in emergency medicine issues and is happy to assist journalists attending EUSEM Congress sessions in person or using the Congress website as a resource in their coverage. The Congress is open to bona fide representatives of print and electronic media, and registration is free.
